Our Skilled Care Nursing Unit provides 24‑hour nursing care, individualized treatment plans, and comprehensive rehabilitative therapies to support each resident’s health and independence. Every aspect of our care is grounded in our Catholic mission, honoring the dignity and sacredness of every life. With highly skilled clinical support in a compassionate, faith‑based environment, residents receive the comprehensive care they need within a community guided by respect, purpose, and service. Independent Living Unit

Our Independent Living Unit provides a supportive, faith-guided environment where residents can maintain their independence while enjoying the benefits of reliable daily services. Residents enjoy private rooms or suites and experience a thoughtfully structured environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and overall well-being. Our community is close‑knit, welcoming and compassionate, offering a sense of belonging rooted in shared values and genuine neighborly care. Guided by our Catholic mission and values, St. Gerard’s Community of Care honors each resident’s dignity, history, and spiritual life while providing a stable foundation for continued independence.

Child Care & Kinder Kollege

St. Gerard’s Child Care and Kinder Kollege Preschool provide a safe, nurturing, and Christian‑centered environment where children can learn, grow, and build meaningful connections. As a licensed childcare and preschool program located within our facility, our setting offers a unique intergenerational atmosphere that enriches daily experiences for both children and residents.

Families can rely on consistent, compassionate care supported by highly experienced staff, structured learning opportunities, and a strong commitment to safety and well‑being. Our programs are designed to support each child’s development through engaging activities, structured learning, and attentive, nurturing care.

Child Care

St. Gerard’s Childcare was established in 1997 and has been a licensed facility since. Our Child Care program offers dependable, flexible care for children of all ages in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Full‑time, part‑time, or drop‑in care available Monday – Friday
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Engaging daily activities including (but not limited to):
    • Interaction with nursing home staff and residents
    • Outdoor strolls in nature
    • Playtime in a secure, fenced-in outdoor playground

Kinder Kollege

Kinder Kollege is our curriculum-based preschool program, established in 2011, and licensed through the state of North Dakota. Kinder Kollege provides a curriculum‑based preschool experience designed to prepare children for future learning through structured instruction and play.

  • Classes held Mondays & Wednesdays through the months of August to May
  • Monthly enrollment rates
  • Structured learning paired with indoor and outdoor activities
  • Access to a safe, fenced-in outdoor playground
